Job Summary

Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Administrative Professional is responsible to support the management by performing administrative and office tasks related to shipping, accounting, production and purchasing.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform administrative follow-up of shipments;
  • Perform computer system receipts and creation of purchase orders;
  • Update the various inventory files;
  • Print labels and various documents for production;
  • File production and shipping documents;
  • Support the accounting department in the follow-up of invoices and inventory;
  • Prepare internal mail shipments;
  • Coordinate and organize special events (trainings, lunches, etc.);
  • Perform certain procurement tasks (e.g., office supplies);
  • Administrative support of onboarding for new employees including benefits and payroll;
  • As required, provide administrative support to Strathroy operations and service areas;
  • Greet visitors and ensure the reception and distribution of telephone calls.

Required Training and Experience

  • Education in administrative services or accounting;
  • Two (2) years of experience in a similar position (in a manufacturing environment an asset);
  • Microsoft Office Suite and Power BI.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $45,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 40 per week
