Billing and Account Receivable Technician
Position Summary
Reporting to the Team Leader – Operational Accounting, the Billing and Accounts Receivable Technician will take on a support role within the current finance department and work closely with the Billing and Accounts Receivable Managers.
Job Responsibilities
- Invoice shipments to customers: issuance, verification and sending;
- Provide information to customers related to billing and accounts receivable;
- Follow up with clients in order to collect amounts receivable;
- Prepare certain documents related to invoicing and accounts receivable: denunciations, releases, warranty documents, copies of invoices, proof of delivery, etc.;
- Reconcile sales;
- Participate in account analysis and monitoring;
- Participate at the end of monthly periods;
- Assist in the preparation of one-time and annual audit files;
- Participate in improvement projects;
- Prepare various reports;
- Sorting and filing.
Education and experience required
- Completed D.E.C. in Accounting;
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a position related to the position.
Key skills required
- Strong customer service orientation (internal and external);
- Excellent communication skills in French and English, spoken and written;
- Good knowledge of Excel and Word tools;
- Knowledge of an ERP billing system (asset).
Starting Salary 51,000$ annually
