Developer
Position Summary
Reporting to the IT manager, the developer will be required to design, produce, test, implement and maintain applications that support business processes.
Job Responsibilities
- Carry out IT development projects according to the priorities established in the IT Strategic Plan, within the prescribed deadlines;
- Support existing applications;
- Ensure the quality of applications;
- Optimize code and ensure data security;
- To provide technical support to users;
- Discover issues, test solutions, and deploy patches when needed.
- Participate in Norbec’s technology watch and support technological choices
- Perform the coding according to the specifications of the analysis document;
- Write and execute system test scenarios;
- Participate in the production of applications;
- Ensure follow-up during the post-implementation period;
- Maintain application procedures and documentation;
- Ensure the maintenance of existing applications;
- Establish effective communication with team members and other stakeholders.
Education and experience required
- University degree in computer science or computer engineering;
- 5 or more years of experience in .Net application development (C#).
Key skills required
- Be comfortable with the .Net computer language (C#, VB), (Essential);
- Fluency in English and French (spoken and written);
- Have a good knowledge of IT development methodologies, relational databases and SQL Server;
- Knowledge of ERP solutions (epicor), VBA, SSRS, HTML, Jira, git.;
- Expertise in web development (ASP.net, React).
Starting Salary : 67,000$ annualy
