  1.       POSITION SUMMARY
       In a context where innovation is an integral part of the company’s success, where continuous improvement, initiative and teamwork are strongly encouraged, the Business Analyst will take a central role in the technology department.  

Result-oriented, he will have the objective of successfully implementing IT projects. To do this, he will have to ensure that the activities of internal and external stakeholders are coordinated. He will also be responsible for ensuring that the implemented processes are optimized before automating them. Quality-oriented, he will ensure that the tools developed are tested, validated and approved by operations before deployment.  

He will also be responsible for providing leadership and change management throughout the projects he manages. The Business Analyst must have the ability to interact with different levels of management and employees in order to execute and control their projects. To do this, he or she will have to demonstrate organization and good communication skills within the mainly matrix work teams that he or she will have to coordinate. His creativity will be put to the test on a daily basis in the reengineering of processes and the digital transformation of the organization.    
RESPONSABILITÉS RELIÉES AU POSTE
Administer, configure, and contribute to the continuous optimization of the software applications and platforms used by the organization
Act as a resource person for all stakeholders and suppliers of IT solutions;
Manage IT development projects (customizations made to the system, implementation of new features, addition of complementary software);
Act as a resource person for all stakeholders and suppliers of IT solutions;
Master and understand the company’s various business processes and the ERP system;
Animating and facilitating meetings Act as an expert in an Agile project management context Ability to translate user needs into functional specifications for system development and customization;
Participate in the analysis of data and processes in order to define problems and non-added value;
Be constantly looking for the effectiveness and efficiency of business processes via the systems in place and recommend appropriate strategies.
Participate in the analysis of costs and benefits, organizational impact analyses and, if necessary, the implementation of changes.
Advise the internal client and ensure the transfer of knowledge necessary for the sustainability of the improved process.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Participate in the analysis, documentation and mapping of business processes;
Develop procedures;
Participate in the definition, coordination and execution of test scenarios;
Develop operational and technical specifications;
Collaborate in the deployment of Norpro’s continuous improvement approach across the organization (Operational Excellence, Lean, DMS).
Act as an agent of change and mobilize teams to achieve results;
Anticipate project risks and propose avoidance measures;
Any other related tasks; Continuously work to improve existing ways of working.    
JOB REQUIREMENTS   Key Competencies
Ability to manage priorities and have a high degree of adaptability;
Strong sense of conceptualization;
Overall vision and analytical mind;
Be customer-oriented and results-oriented;
Excellent ability to facilitate meetings and mobilize, regardless of the hierarchical level;
Trainer/coach skills;
Excellent communication skills in French and English, spoken and written;
Microsoft Office Suite, BPMN 2.0 Process Mapping;
In-depth knowledge of the main activity cycles related to ERP;
Experience with Epicor preferred or strong expertise in other systems; Knowledge of agility.  

Starting salary $67,000.00 annually
