Under the responsibility of the head of the supply department, you will be responsible for the procurement of materials needed for production by building close relationships with suppliers and your supply team as well as the production team.


  • Analyze purchasing suggestions and send purchase orders for raw materials, subcontractors and special items.
  • Follows up on purchase orders, obtains confirmations and ensures timely delivery
  • Ensures optimal inventory levels according to the plant’s production level
  • Oversees weekly inventory audits and takes corrective action to achieve objectives
  • Collaborates with the team to reduce B/O and improve replenishment processes
  • Makes recommendations for adjustments to min-max and maintains them in the system
  • Ensures that purchase prices are in line with existing contracts and keeps price lists up to date
  • Communicates any supply problems to the team (availability, delays, quality problems) and proposes solutions
  • Create new parts in the ERP system (Epicor)
  • Manages supplier returns
  • Actively participates in the improvement of processes related to his/her field of activity
  • Participates in negotiations with suppliers of materials for which he/she is responsible


  • Minimum 2 years experience in a purchasing position
  • Relevant training in procurement
  • Fluency in French and English (spoken and written)
  • Thoroughness, rigor, analytical skills
  • Good management of priorities
  • Be proactive and like to take action
  • Comfortable with computers
  • Mastery of the office suite (Excel, Power point, Word)
