Accounts Receivable Analyst
Position Summary
Reporting to the Manager, Operational Accounting. The Accounts Receivable Analyst will play a key role in the current finance department and will work closely with the billing and accounts receivable as well as inside and outside sales managers.
Job Responsibilities
- Proceed with daily deposits and application of payments in the LES.
- Reconcile advance deposits, deposits and partial payments, produce deposit reports and follow up with the bank.
- Create and maintain customer files in JIRA and in the ERP, in accordance with internal procedures.
- Compile credit files (reports, references, compliance) and ensure that customer information is updated.
- Follow up with customers to collect payments due, prepare and transmit statements of account, proof of delivery and other documents.
- Participate in the follow-up of disputed accounts and collaborate with the credit manager for complex cases.
- Manage and dispatch incoming emails from the ‘receivable’ mailbox (in support of the team).
- Prepare various documents: denunciations, releases, CNESST/CCQ letters, certificates of compliance, etc.
- Participate in intercompany conciliations (intercos), preparation of audit files and month/year ends.
- Contribute to continuous improvement: review and optimization of procedures
Education and experience required
- D.E.C. in accounting or equivalent training.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in accounts receivable or related position.
- Experience with an ERP (Epicor – asset).
- Good command of Excel and Word.
- Experience in the manufacturing or construction sector is an asset.

Starting salary : 62,000$ annually
