Analyst – ERP Application Support
Position Summary
Job Responsibilities
Customer Support (about 60% of your time)
- Provide direct and ongoing support and assistance to Epicor users to ensure reliable and efficient operations;
- Act as the primary contact for functional and application support (Level 1 and 2);
- Work with users on all functional modules;
- Train and coach users on procedures and applications;
- Onboard new Epicor users.
Functional/technical support (about 40% of your time)
- Maintain Epicor documentation and work procedures and translate business knowledge into functional requirements in a timely manner;
- Perform Epicor security administration (access control);
- Perform general technical troubleshooting/debugging and provide guidance;
- Understand business needs and document any workarounds for problem-creating functions and processes;
- Collaborate and work closely with the development team to facilitate communication and understanding of business processes and system features;
- Work closely with the entire IT team to develop permanent or temporary solutions to resolve and prevent recurring issues;
- Ensure the quality of applications and participate in system test scenarios.
Education and experience required
- Bachelor’s degree or university degree in information technology, computer science, information systems or a related field or equivalent certifications and work experience;
- A minimum of 3 years of experience with Epicor in a support role preferred, with participation in some technical database or development tasks.
Key skills required
- Ability to communicate well orally and in writing in English/French;
- Full exposure to multiple Epicor modules
- Understanding of business-to-business transactions is an asset;
- Relevant Epicor certifications an asset;
- Experience with an ERP system.
Starting Salary : 69,000$ annually
