Strathroy, Ontario, [June 9, 2026] — Norbec, a North American manufacturer of insulated metal panels and building envelope solutions, announces the phased launch of NorSeam®, the company’s first standing seam insulated metal roof panel system.
Developed for industrial, commercial, cold storage, and pre-engineered building applications, NorSeam marks a major expansion of Norbec’s building envelope portfolio. The system brings the company’s insulated metal panel expertise to roofing with a solution engineered to simplify construction and support long-term thermal and weather performance.
NorSeam is a mechanically seamed roof panel system designed around a one-pass installation approach. By reducing assembly layers and limiting coordination between trades, the system helps contractors accelerate dry-in timelines, reduce installation risk, and improve overall project execution.

NorSeam combines standing seam roof performance with a continuous polyisocyanurate insulated core in a streamlined assembly designed for demanding construction environments. The system supports faster installation while reducing interfaces between components and minimizing opportunities for field error.

Norbec’s launch strategy includes technical documentation, installation guidance, onboarding support, and project coordination resources designed to support installers, general contractors, architects, and specifiers throughout the project lifecycle.
