We receive more requests than we can honor. To keep our choices consistent and transparent, we prioritize requests that fall within one of the following four areas of focus.
ENVIRONMENT AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
Help maintain or improve the health of the planet and fight climate change.
CHARITABLE WORKS
Support a non-profit organization whose main purpose is to promote the social, economic, cultural, or educational well-being of a community.
COMMUNITY SETTINGS
Help maintain or improve the quality of life of a local or school community, as well as maintain or improve local artistic and cultural offerings.
SPORTS AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES
Promote a healthy, active lifestyle among Norbec employees.
STEPPING UP AGAINST FOOD INSECURITY
When an organization approaches us needing storage space, we’d rather offer what we know best than a generic donation: a coldroom.

Scholarships
We believe the best way to secure the future of our industry is to invest directly in those who will help it move forward. That’s why we have awarded scholarships to students, as a way to support them a little further along in their journey.
Partnership with Université de Sherbrooke
Our ties with the academic community don’t stop at hiring graduates. We sponsored the Bâtisseuses/eurs Écologiques de l’Avenir association at Université de Sherbrooke, which is our way of staying connected to up-and-coming students and contributing, on our own scale, to training the next generations of building professionals.
Jeux du commerce (Business Games)
In 2026, we sponsored the Jeux du commerce (Business Games), a competition that brings together business students from across the country. It’s an opportunity for us to support up-and-coming entrepreneurs and get our name out to future talent who might one day join our teams.
Internship Program
