Course Description
This state-of-the-art factory tour is an opportunity to learn the processes involved in the production of insulated metal panels. A team of experts will guide visitors through each step, offering insights into the technologies and techniques essential to the manufacturing process.
Learning Objectives:
- An exclusive behind-the-scenes look at operational procedures. Observations will include the line in action, encompassing warehousing, chemical processes, panel forming, quality assurance, panel cutting, and much more.
- The Saint-Hyacinthe plant specializes in the manufacture of Polyisocyanurate panels. Observers will learn about the production process, composition, and versatile applications of these panels.
- Additional learning will cover the unique features and benefits of insulated metal panels, including their exceptional thermal performance (R-value), durability, and flexibility for a range of commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings.
- Demonstrations will show specific factory capabilities such as butyl application and others. There will also be information provided on the diverse architectural possibilities offered by insulated metal panels.
