New Insulated Metal Panel Manufacturing Plant for Norbec !

$45-million investment for the Québec company

Boucherville, May 16th, 2023 – Norbec, a leading manufacturer of insulated metal panels and walk-in coolers and freezers since 1982, is pleased to announce that it is investing $45 million to build a state-of-the-art production plant in Strathroy, Ontario. Along with existing plants in Boucherville and Saint-Hyacinthe, Québec, this new facility will enable Norbec to expand its range of products used in all types
of architectural, commercial and industrial applications. The project will break ground June 6,
2023, with the new plant slated to be fully operational in the summer of 2024.

This expansion will serve to increase Norbec’s manufacturing capacity and support its growth. With this new ultramodern facility, Norbec will improve its production and distribution processes in order to serve the booming construction market. The project will create as many as 70 jobs when it is put into operation, bringing Norbec’s workforce to more than 400. The company is dedicated to its culture and its values and this new site will reflect this commitment.
