Opening of the new Brookshire Grocery Co. in Fate, Texas…Much more than just a grocery store!

Norbec has developed a healthy business relationship with Brookshire’s Grocery Company since 2021 are proud to have provided the cold rooms for this new and innovative location.

New Store in Fate, Texas

Brookshire Grocery Co. is a regional, family-owned grocery business that employs close to 20,000 individuals throughout Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas and Oklahoma. The company operates more than 200 stores under the Brookshire’s, Super 1 Foods, Fresh by Brookshire’s, Spring Market and Reasor’s banners, along with three distribution centers and a corporate office.

Other features of the new store include foodservice options such as an authentic Asian and sushi counter, a Mexican taqueria bar and a brick-oven authentic-Italian pizza station, an artisan bakery, full-service meat and seafood counter, a charcuterie ,and cheese selections, fresh produce with a large variety of organics, a full-service floral shop, a gourmet coffee bar, hand-crafted gelato, fuel center, outdoor grill and bar, and live music and entertainment.

Doors that last

Norbec hinged doors were used for this project due to some key durability features. Each door is individually designed and manufactured in-house. In addition to providing good insulation properties and enhanced waterproof seals, the doors are designed to withstand daily activities throughout the years. They are manufactured for the most demanding environments (heavy duty usage, high salinity, moisture and strong chemicals).
