The Hadley, MA location required a robust cold storage solution capable of supporting high volume operations. To meet this demand, Norbec provided a fully customized walk-in combo unit, composed of a cooler and freezer, both housed in an exterior walk-in cooler, ExSpace structure. This allowed the client to preserve valuable interior space while benefiting from exceptional insulation and durability.

What distinguishes this installation is the balance of performance and aesthetic appeal. Using Camlock panels and finishes tailored to both function and appearance, the units were designed to endure weather conditions while integrating visually with the site’s architecture.
This exterior walk-in features a robust structural roof system engineered for outdoor conditions, integrated LED lighting for enhanced visibility, strip curtains to minimize temperature loss, and heated windows to prevent condensation and ensure clear visibility. The refrigeration system is equipped wit Norbec’s IntelliRef V2 refrigeration controller, providing remote monitoring and optimized energy management for reliable, efficient operation in any environment.
