Norbec Panels Proudly Featured on the New Alaine Chartrand Community Centre in Prescott
We are thrilled to announce Norbec’s contribution to the construction of the Alaine Chartrand Community Centre in Prescott, Ontario. Our insulated metal panels were used for the building envelope of the new arena.
A Hub of Excellence: The Alaine Chartrand Community Centre
The Alaine Chartrand Community Centre is a premier destination for sports, recreation, and community events all in the heart of Prescott. Boasting 800 seats on both sides of the ice surface, a 620-foot walking path, community rooms, a skate-sharpening shop, and a delightful canteen, the facility caters to a wide range of community needs.
Honoring a Figure Skating Legend: Alaine Chartrand
The town’s new arena was named in honour of the esteemed two-time Canadian senior women’s figure skating champion Alaine Chartrand, a long-time member of the Prescott Figure Skating Club. The grand opening ceremony of the arena took place on September 2nd, 2023.
